CalcEmperor is a collection of free online calculators and plain-English guides. The goal is simple: give you a correct answer quickly, and show the math so you can check it yourself.
What you will find here
Calculators for loans, mortgages, car payments and credit card debt; savings, retirement and pay tools; everyday maths such as percentages, discounts, sales tax and tips; date calculators; health tools such as BMI and calorie needs; unit converters; and small utilities like a word counter and a password generator. Each page explains the formula it uses, works through a real example and answers common questions. Our guides go deeper on the money and maths behind the tools.
How we build and check our calculators
- Every calculator uses a standard, published formula, which is written out on the page.
- Worked examples on each page are recalculated independently and compared with the tool's output.
- Calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to our servers.
What we are not
We are not a bank, lender, insurer or medical provider. Results are estimates for planning and education. For decisions about money or health, please check the figures with a qualified professional and your provider's official disclosures.
Corrections and feedback
If you find an error or have a calculator you would like us to add, please get in touch. Corrections are reviewed and fixed as soon as possible.

CalcEmperor is free to use and supported by advertising. Ads do not influence what the calculators compute or what our guides say.
